SSB Exam 2014 Application Form Date Result 2014-2015

SSB- Sahastra Seema Bal proposes written exam for the position of Constables (Driver).

·         General: 173
·         SC: 244
·         ST: 63
·         OBC: 91
·         Ex-Servicemen: 74

Essential Criteria: Willing candidates should be high school passed or similar course from Govt. registered university / board. They also must be having Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License. CDS Exam 2014

Age Limitation: Candidates should be between 23–28 yrs in age. Relaxation in age to reserved candidates will be given according to govt. rules.

Fee Criteria: All the candidates except will deposit Rs.150/-(Code No.0184) in form of DD drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ, SSB, Siliguri, (W.B) ” payable at SBI Siliguri. SCRA Exam 2014


Exam Criteria: The Written Exam consists of 2 papers:      
    
·         Gen. Hindi or English        
·         General Knowledge
The duration of the paper is 2 hrs. Each paper is of 50 marks.          

Mode of Selection: Candidates have to qualify Written test. Then they have to appear in the following tests:

·         Technical test
·         Driving test
·         PST
·         PET
Finally their Medical exam is taken. 

Application Process: Application forms of desired candidates should be reached with all the necessary self-attested enclosures like proof of Qualification, proof of date of birth, valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, DD or cheque & self-addressed envelopes to the “Inspector General, FTR HQ (SSB), Siliguri, Village:Ranidanga, PO: Matigara, Distt:- Darjeeling, (W.B) Pin:- 734010”.

SSB-Sashastra Seema Bal or Armed Border Force is one of Central Armed Police Forces of the country. It is right now under the control of MHA-the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. It was officially called as the Special Service Bureau. It was started in 1963 in the rise of the Sino-Indian War to impart sense of nationality in the population of border. In the then hills of UP, North Assam, North Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh & NEFA they improved their abilities by motivation, development, training, welfare programmes & activities.
