APTET
Teachers eligibility test 2014 (APTET) is going to be organized by Andhra Pradesh State Government for those who are interested to teach in the schools run by state govt., schools of Mandal Parishad, schools of Zila Parishad or aided & non-aided Private schools. This exam is held each year & it is according to rules of National Council for Teachers education.
Importance of APTET
A candidate who is interested in adapting teaching career has to qualify Teachers eligibility Test. It doesn't mean that he or she will surely be employed. But it surely provides the opportunity to the candidate to apply as a teacher in any private or govt. schools. It is mandatory for the candidates to pass APTET successfully if they are looking for schools governed by Andhra Pradesh State govt. or aided by state govt. If the candidates are interested in an unaided private school of Andhra Pradesh they can appear in central Teachers eligibility Test in place of APTET.
Qualifying Criteria: Candidates should have degree of D.Ed, BTC, 2-yrs NTT, BTC in Urdu or if they have Graduation degree in elementary education for applying for class I to V (primary teacher).
For applying class VI to VIII, candidates should be Graduate with min. 45% marks & also having 2 yrs Diploma in Education or they must have done B.Ed with 50% marks or 4 yrs special Education Diploma with 50% marks.
Age Limitation: Candidates must be between 18-40 yrs in age. SC/ST/OBC will get relaxation according to Govt. rules.
Fee Structure: Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- as an application fee at E-Seva Centers or they can deposit it online also at www.aponline.gv.in.
Applying Process: Candidates are advised to go to the website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in/of APTET. Application forms should be filled properly & all the formalities should be done carefully. Read more at recruitmentdetails.com .They should download the Challan form from the website. The copy of it will also be reached with all the necessary certificates at the concerned address.

Downloading of Admit card: From 25.08.2013
Date of Exam: 01.09.2013 or 08.09.2013, it will be updated soon.
Declaration of Result: 20.09.2013
Note:
1.Those who could not pass 2012, 2013 APTET, can apply again for 2014 session. Candidates can apply again for the improvement for their scores.
2. Gen. should have 60% passing marks in APTET while ST/SC/PWD should have 40% marks & for OBC 50% marks are considered.
