South Western Railway has issued notification for the recruitment of full time medical practitioner on contractual basis. Eligible and willing candidates may attend walk-in-interview to be conducted on 19.06.2013.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have MBBS Degree and possess valid registration certificate of state Medical Council of India.
Age limit : Upper age limit for the Retired Railway Doctor applying for the post is 65 years while 50 years for other candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Govt. rules.
Remuneration :Rs.39,400/- per month consolidated for open market candidates Rs.46,000/- for Retired Railway Doctor will be paid as honorarium.
Selection Procedure : Selection of suitable candidate will be done on the basis of performance Personal Interview.
How to apply : Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility conditions may appear for Walk-in-Interview to be conducted on 19thJune,2013 and shall report to Deputy Chief Personnel Officer/Recruitment . Candidate should carry application form in attached format (Downloaded from website http://www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in) along with attested copies of relevant documents & certificates.Original Documents should be produced for verification purpose at the time of Interview.
