The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a premier academic institute , established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, serves the educational ambitions of over 4 million students in India and 36 other countries through 21 Schools of Studies and a network of 67 regional centres, around 3,000 learner support centres and 67 overseas centres.

IGNOU has published advertisement to fill up the posts of  Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in different disciplines. Eligible and interested candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31^st July,2013.

Application Fee : Application fee of Rs.200/- should be paid by Unreserved & OBC candidates whereas Rs.50/-  by  SC/ST candidates in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of “IGNOU”, payable at New Delhi.
